Regent Briar Valeheart

Councilman Briar Valeheart is my OC which I play at a Larp called SimTerra.

A brief primer (which is a years worth of history shoved into a few paragraphs) as to this scene.

"Life is short, even more so for Protos. Councilman Briar Valeheart learned this the hard way when she fell in love with a dwarven man who was marked to die within a few months. Though Rarditch and Briar were together for a short amount of time, the book he left her  - The Book of Five Rings by Miyamoto Musashi - is a treasure of hers.

Councilman Valeheart took comfort in the fact that the Prince she served loyally, who was also one of her closest friends along with Councilwoman Katla, was still close. Though Katla shortly left to be with her own beloved and help with the Contessa's cause. Later that night fate would have it that her Prince was forced to flee Stonecropt with his beloved wife, Lady Frikka, to save their unborn child. He left his trusted servant and friend as The Regent of Stonecropt, to faithfully keep the land pure, protect their people from the dubious Prince Odo, and await his eventual return. Thus she wears the Regent's Pendant about her neck. Something Prince Calder has worn since he was young...and though she wears it proudly, Regent Briar looks forward to the day it can reclaim itself upon her Prince's Chest."



Sitting at the edge of the Wylde Wood, where it's ethereal blue light danced off the twilight sunset close to Stonecropt is pictured here as she reads her treasure again for at least the 100th time.
